Beauty in the Now: Vegan Dinner & Conversation
Join us for an evening dedicated to the beauty of the present where guests will have the opportunity to connect and learn over a seasonal, local dinner and interactive discussion.
Shou Sugi Ban House’s Executive Chef Jacob Clark will be joined by Chef Alex Cheblal to present an inspired and bountiful, plant-based autumnal meal, preceded by hors d’oeuvres and mocktails.
Following dinner, Chef Alex will join Wanda Innes of Capitale Jeunesse to lead guests in an interactive conversation about how diet affects our mind and body. Together, they will share their knowledge of the healing power of plants and how to incorporate nature’s bounty into your daily diet for optimal well-being.
Our health-focused dinner and discussion can be complemented by experiencing Wanda’s expertly-crafted, ninety-minute signature facial treatment over the weekend. Soothing for the mind and spirit, Wanda combines and customizes exfoliation techniques, electric current and active topicals to reinvigorate cellular activity to reveal a healthy, radiant glow and revitalize facial musculature, neck and décolleté. Wanda will be offering her Facial Reshaping treatments on Saturday, October 12th and Sunday, October 13th at Shou Sugi Ban House.

Originally from Geneva, Switzerland, Chef Alex Cheblal has developed his culinary passion with master chefs in France, Switzerland, Japan, and the United States. The distinguished chef is the founder of Vegan Wagon, which offers tools for healthy living through experiential dinners and tasting events, plant-based meal plans, and international culinary retreats.
Inspired from a very young age, Wanda Innes of Capitale Jeunesse has combined her years of studying architecture, angles and texture of the visage to invent a non-invasive skincare treatment system that greatly improves our well-being. Wanda’s experience with advanced technologies and innovative topicals lends itself to the evolution of her unique style of healing.
