Shou Sugi Ban House’s cleanse retreat offers a holistic approach to purifying your mind, body, and environment.

Through diet, meditation, workshops and detox protocols we encourage you to release and reset. Our state of the art facilities include saunas, hydrotherapy pools, a fitness pavilion, and space to enjoy the calming nature of winter on the East End.

We recognize that the holidays can be a taxing time on our entire system. Our comprehensive approach will cover many facets of your wellbeing to ensure you leave feeling well-rested, nourished and equipped with new tools to help you support a healthier lifestyle.

Charlotte LaGuardia is a Certified Nutrition Specialist professional and a member of the American College of Nutrition. Her integrative approach looks at all aspects of the client’s life including physical activity, stress management, environmental influences, as well as diet. She believes that understanding our biochemical individuality and setting realistic goals are the keys for a successful intervention. In her free time she can be found experimenting in the kitchen or down at the beach with her dog, Stella.

Christiana Schelfhout, is Shou Sugi Ban House’s resident Yoga Instructor (E-RYT 500) and Healing Arts Practitioner. Her dedication to tantra yoga and earth based healing have led her to study at ashrams and spiritual communities throughout the world. Using various modalities she helps clients remember their authentic self and live holistic lives aligned with their own innate biological intelligence.
